Well I got bored today, and I figured I would let everyone know what happens when they take there vehicle to Walmart Tire and Lube Express for an oil change or tires. First off, its going to be a long wait to get your car worked on, mostly because of poor scheduling of technicians, your lucky if you have more then 2 techs in the garage working on cars. And if they are working on there and they dont look very happy be there, there not. Let me break it down to you. We come in to poor sceduling, 99% of the time when we come in, the other 2 techs are leaving for the day so we dont get any assistance for our break. Most of us are lucky if we get 20hrs a week like me, I am barely making $340 every 2 weeks. Me and many other techs are working only `18 hrs a week, and are unable to find a second job to help out. Not that it would matter much because our scheduling is so erratic that trying to keep the 2 in line is pure crazy talk. Ill make a staggering $8000 this year in pay.... and possibly less next year, how am I supposed to survive on this? So the next time you go in for an oil change or tire job at walmart... Say hello and be nice. Because if your nice, were nice, if your an ass hole, we will skimp out on the extras you Paid for
