Well, I got up this morning, and since we didnt have grandkids all - TopicsExpress

Well, I got up this morning, and since we didnt have grandkids all weekend, I didnt have the pantry/ medicine room door closed. Well, thats where I keep a little tub of water with Orange cleaning solution in it for quick clean ups, etc. a scrub brush nearby, and its just my miserly way of keeping what doesnt need to be dumped for a quick crayon clean up, fingerprint wipe down. No different than keep in a spray bottle. Its not a mop bucket where dirty or filth is returned. But it IS soapy. Well evidently it smelled delicious because Nero drank it all up, I couldnt tell if hed done it in the night, just then, the night before...??? About 12 oz. I thought ok, Bug. ( our Nick name for him) I checked him out. Cold n wet. Sleeping normally, eating and drinking normal when I woke him for the day, and as full of energy as any other day. I laid my hands on his head, prayed really hard.... And told him to hang in there. Daddy would be home at 3:40. Well, needless to say, I pull in the drive tonight with bated breathe. My cell wont keep a charge all of a sudden. I cant even call to check. He was nowhere to be found. I started to tear up. Praying he was inside with Dusty. As I opened my car door, I heard tah familiar hello mom! Snort of my little Bug. We can now add toxic cleaner to the list of things this dog has eaten and not died from. 1. Rat poison ( Farmers kind: we dont mess around!) 2. Used condom in parking lot at Jackson Hole WY. 3. A pair of knee high nylons. 4 the crotch out of every pair of underwear he could get hold of. 5. dead sheep. (Yeah...lets not go into detail) 6. Other dogs fecal matter. 7. Key 8. Sticks 9. Pinecones ( those realllllly hurt coming out) 10. Coins 11. Rocks 12. The roots of most of the grass in my pretty (once) manicured back yard. The list goes on.... Truly. But hes alive and well tonight. So my heart is happy, and grinning.
