Well, I guess our winter weather has arrived. So lets make the best of it and have some winter fun! Over several days in February, Neighborhood Associations of Muskegon will be hosting Winter Sports Day at the Muskegon State Park Winter Sports Complex. Muskegon Public elementary school fifth graders will be visiting the Complex for a day of fun participating in the luge, ice skating and cross country skiing. We are in need of helpers for the event. The dates are as follows: Lakeside Elementary 2-3-15, Marquette Elementary 2-5-15, Moon Elementary 2-10-15, Nelson Elementary 2-12-15 and Oakview Elementary 2-17-15. Helpers are needed to assist kids in getting on skates and skis, lunch distribution, tending the fire and making sure the kids are having a great time! This is fun for everyone involved. You would need to be at the Winter Sports Complex from about 9am - 2pm on any of the dates listed above.
