Well, I had my 6 wk check up this week. The doctor was very pleased with my progress. My restrictions are extended for another 6 weeks but he is allowing me to put weight on my leg now. I am using a walker with 4 wheels on it so I am able to walk better. Im currently wearing my dress shoe on my right foot & either my house shoe or flat tennis shoe on my left foot since my left leg is about 3 inches longer. I will be getting a rt shoe with a 1 inch lift added to it. I can now ride my stationary bike! I rode 5 miles last night, wanted to ride longer but decided I shouldnt over do it at first but work up to a longer ride. Woo hoo! It felt great! I start my out patient physical therapy tomorrow and begin working from home on Tues. My 12 wk check up in Apr 15, should be released then & physically go back to work. Surgery for the right hip is scheduled for July 23rd. So excited! By the holidays I should be healed, my journey/transformation will be complete and you can call me the bionic woman. LOL Thanks to everyone for your prayers, I feel them! I am blessed to have a God, family & friends who love me! God bless each of you for all of your prayers, cards, visits, food, etc.
