Well, I have NO GLASSES on for the first time since the fourth grade!!! Both of my cataracts have been removed and all is well with life. I can see some of the most beautiful things I dont think I have ever seen due to poor eyesight. On the 10th of October, I had the left eye done and my vision in it is now 20/20. And then, on the 24th of October the right eye was done. At my post-op appointment the next day, my vision was 20/40. By the time I return to clinic for the next post-op appointment I am confident that eye will also be 20/20....that is just plain awesome!!! Ill have to have some reading glasses for close up reading. That is ok....because, Im so thankful for doctors like Dr. Eric Greiser that did my surgery. He is with the EyeClinic at Shands Hospital. What an excellent surgeon and a wonderful person that was kind, considerate, and just a great guy too. Thanks Dr. Greiser!!!
