Well, I have had an amazing morning! First, I went to my daughters high school, and helped with the international festival they were having. I bought bunch of hum bao and green onion rolls, helped set out the food, watched the kids descend locust-like upon the food, then helped a bit with clean up. In between, I watched the assembly, where the international students talked about what high schools in their countries were like. A pair of lion dancers performed. I then went up and watched a presentation on Mongolia by one of the teachers who had taught there. After visiting the school I went to the Historic Flight museum, and got to climb around in a beautifully restored DC-3. This is for the book I was writing. I learned a ton about DC-3s and then got to explore their B-25! I even got to squeeze myself down the tiny tunnel to the front of the plane, where the guy who dropped the bombs sat. All their planes are beautifully restored and touchable. Many of them still fly! Much vintage airplane squee-age was had! Yaaaay!
