Well, I have to brag a little on our fabulous Chef Kino and our Krewe…We got the catering job for the Fremont County Cattlemens Dinner and were guaranteed 225., We actually served 272 (counting the kids) and never ran out of ANYTHING! plus, it made me so proud to see the guests approaching Chef Kino and shaking his hand, congratulating him on an wonderful dinner. That is why I kill myself in this business. I am PROUD to walk through the crowd and get hugs and kisses (hey- old gals need lovin too!)…not hide in the kitchen until everyone goes away!! Feeding folks and making them smile is my raison dêtre…. We had many compliments on my Krewe of darling girls, dressed in their Western Bling…the head of the group said it was refreshing to see such a clean-cut group of young people. Thank you to all: Chef Kino, Memhet, Brett, Jada, Tianna, Josee, Stephanie, May Lynn, Nichole, Cher, Diane, and especially Mary Howard! Hope I didnt miss anyone. Thank you , Krewe: You did an amazing job. We hope, now that we have cut our teeth on a big cater, that your group will consider us for your big event…or small one, too! I am having surgery tomorrow to hopefully eliminate some chronic back pain and will be out of pocket for about a week or ten days…While I am gone, Diane Johnson will look after the shop and if you need any catering needs, check in with Chef Kino. Our number is 856-1152…. A very big thank you to Jim Hellyer and Lance Jordan for putting their event in our hands and having the faith that we would make them happy- I think we succeeded!
