Well, I havent posted for a couple of days, and life has been a whirlwind. We were up north with family and came home Saturday in time to do laundry and pack for our Youth Mission Trip. We left between 7:30 and 8:00 am on Sunday to drive to New Jersey. I had worn a compression sock, which I do whenever Im driving any distance. At about the Pennsylvania border I wasnt feeling well, so I gave up driving so I could nap. After my nap, I was feeling a little bit better, but the sock was causing a lot of pain, so I took it off. I noticed that my leg was feeling warm, and that was concerning. So, Laurie got her thermometer out and took my temp, which was around 100. Then she proceeded to take my temp every 5 minutes for the next 45 minutes and it only went to 101.7 before it started to come down. So we called U of M Hospital, because thats what were supposed to do, and after about an hour, I spoke with a Dr. who told me that he would call a script in for me at a Rite Aid in Middletown, NJ. So we kept driving, and thinking that we were smart to come home from up north early, we caught worse traffic coming out of the Poconos. It was crazy it took us over an hour and a half to go 12 miles. When we got here, the pharmacy was closed, so we waited till this morning to go to pick up my meds. When we got there, the pharmacist told me that my order had been canceled, and she had no idea why. So I called I of M again, and long story short, I finally got my meds at 4:30 pm this afternoon after multiple calls. So, 2 doses down and hopefully were on the road to recovery. I know that it was the prayers of so many people that has kept me out of the hospital at this point. I am so thankful to all of you who have been praying for me, and like one lady told me tonight, Weve been praying for you for a few years, its so nice to finally meet you. I said, Thank you so much, and Im still here, To which she replied, Gods got something more for you to do. And I thought, thanks for the reminder. If were still living and breathing, God has something more for is to do. Whats He got for you? Have a Super Tuesday!
