Well... I just had my first ever need to use the heimlich maneuver. My little B just choked on a mint. Ethans first instinct was to go over and wrap his hands around her throat super tight thinking that would help. I threw him out of the way, snatched her up and soon saw a mint shooting across the room. She grabbed me and said, THANK YOU MOM!! with the most sincerity Ive ever heard from her. Then we had a moment of educating them on what to do if they are ever alone and it happens. They are still both shaking. Im just glad I was in the room with her when it happened.
