Well I keep putting off housework because its too nice outside. I wish I would get some guests because then Id have to power clean. Driving these grandkids around and around and around chews up most of the days but the spring carnival was their absolute delight. All the little kids playing down on the river making forts or sliding. Today Emmy got in her first snow shoe race and finished with one snowshoe on and one in her hand but she finished. Ethan got in the pop scramble and so I count that as participation because I got in the only race my hip and knee could take and it was the beer scramble. Mary Ann Mccarty who just had hip and knee surgery was my running partner. The younger ladies gave us a little area to work. lol Down the trail we hobbled as fast as we could and I could hear our husbands laughing at us but I told her that between us we make one good person lets GO! Now, Im making a macaroni salad and Rae made goose soup with the last of our Barrow geese and we will go to the Potlach and awards down the hall. Thank to all the men and women who put on such a terrific spring carnival once again. Its been a great weekend.
