Well I married a hero. Yesterday RJ trouped up to senator Gillibrands office, with all the form he needed already downloaded and filled out. We want her to pressure immigration to find out what happened to our case, because the website says cases from five months ago are being dealt with and our case went in 9 months ago. He gets to the building. Security says he cant go up without an appointment , suggests he call the office. The head of the senators immigration department says they dont make appointments, there is no way to talk gace to face with anyone who works there ever. RJ is unmoved. She keeps asking him wherever he got the idea he could just come and drop off his papers at the office. He keeps saying its weird that they wont let him drop off the papers since he is in the nuilding. He says if they wont let him up then they better send someone down. Just a minute, says the immigration rep, puts him on hold! And LO- They sent the senators assistant down, who listened attentively, took our paperwork, and gave RJ his card to follow up. This episode is called Mr baker goes to midtown. What a man what a man what a mighty good man.
