Well. I rarely write much on Facebook mainly because I am well aware of the attacks that you open yourself up for from friends. But I really felt like theres something that I want to say, especially now. I love Christmas and I praise God for the birth of my Savior Jesus Christ ! There I said it, whew that wasnt so bad. You see, I know there are a million issues that people want to fuss about with Christmas and just a few years ago, I was one of them. Just a few years ago the holidays were the most miserable time of the year for me. But, I had to stop before I had a depression crash. Im sick and tired of fussing and fighting and being mad about Christmas and other holidays definitions and origins and whats good and bad, or right and wrong based on what this person says or that person says. To be honest I could care less! At Christmas people are generally more happy, more joyful, giving more hugs, smiling more, singing more, and thinking of others for a change. Some people will spend the whole holiday season fussing about whats wrong with it. Well I say phooey on people who are always mad about everything all the time. I want to get back to rejoicing and celebrating and singing and having joy because of Jesus reguardless of how bad humans have messed it up. Oh yes and by the way, Im banking on Gods Grace to save me. Not wether I get Christmas right or not. Ephesians 2: 8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourself. It is the gift of God not of works lest anyone should boast. Merry Christmas to all and praise God for the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! P.S. If you only have a nasty response, save it. I will not attempt to defend myself. And Merry Christmas to you too! Come a little closer and I will hug you!
