Well I think Im coherent enough to make a post now...please forgive the length of this post but much needs to be said. WOW...what a good party last night. Awesome crowd, great venue, great weather, great bands. So many thank yous need to be said... Sam Grow...what a blast to hang out with these guys. Sam, Mike Stacey, Joe Barrick, Gene Quade, Jeff Campbell, Hootch (Mike Guici), thank you so much for everything, you went out of your way to make this show happen and I cannot thank you enough. I hope you had as much fun as we did!! The Mike Starkey Band...you guys are awesome to come up at short notice and have a part in this show. Thank you and great job, we will meet again Im sure!! Twin Shields Golf Club...what can I say about you all. Karen and Kenny and Dianne, you are the best..period!!! You graciously opened up your facility to us and then treated everyone involved like kings. Thank you so much for your spirit, your energy and going above and beyond to make this a great event. Thank you for your willingness to take a chance on me, I will never forget that!! Valerie Nowottnick...if you have never had the pleasure to meet Valerie, you are really missing out. She is a wonderful woman who really cares about her community and small businesses here. Thank you so much Val for thinking outside the box and helping me pitch the whole idea to Karen. Thank you for taking time out of your days to come to the meetings and to offer me guidance (tough guidance when I was hard headed...lol) and to offer me assistance if I needed it. Knowing I could contact you or ask you questions made this much easier!!! Mary N Mike Theesen...thank you so much for taking care of the guys. That was special for them and was above what you had to do and I greatly appreciate it and I know they did to...you rock my brother!!! Greg Ostrander and Olivia Ostrander...thank you for Friday and Saturday nights. Thanks for seeing I just needed to relax Friday night and hanging out with me, even though we both had to be up early. Thank you for staying until the whole thing was over last night and we were all wrapped up. That meant so much to me. I enjoyed every second, every minute of our time together. Thanks to Phil Parenti for Maryland for staying also!! Last but not least...THANK YOU to my team. You all do most of the work and I get most of the credit but I couldnt do it without you. John and Debbie Dove, you know I love you both and thank you so much for being there for me, for being my balance system and for being tough on me when I need it. Sonja, thanks for putting up with my rants, my crazy ideas, the sleepless nights, the never being home. I could never even try to make it up to you but somehow I will. Preston Pratt Jr...what can I say about you my friend. You have been in on this crazy notion that I could get elected as a commissioner from the beginning. You have been with me every step of the way, right behind me most of the time making sure I dont trip up or do something stupid. It isnt easy to keep up with me but you do and I appreciate it. I cant imagine doing this without you helping me!!! Finally and most importantly...to everyone who came to the event and to those who have supported me, not just financially but by your pats on the back, your words of encouragement, your belief in me...THANK YOU!! You are why I am running this campaign and I am humbled by your support. I cannot express how much it means to me. Again, Thank you so much...on to the primaries June 24th!!
