Well, I think we finally found a proactive dr. We have had to wait a pretty long time to get in with her and after today, my momma (Karen Carter) thinks she was worth the wait. I of course am apprehensive, nervous, a bit scared and slightly feeling overwhelmed. I dont do well with change because change has never done well with me. Tomorrow I will be stopping the Prednisone completely (after 4 long years of religiously taking it daily) and replacing it with a corticosteroid that is suppose to work wonders with adrenal disease. It is shorter acting so I will have to take this one twice a day. I will have to monitor my blood pressure closely and pray that my body doesnt shut down and I remain out of the hospital. I realize I wont get better without change but change scares the absolute day lights out of me. Please keep me in your prayers
