Well I wanted to update all of you that had me in mind this weekend. I traveled to the appalichicola forest to guide this young man and when I arrived the landowner would only allow himself and the vet and a camera man on the land so I was out of the loop on this. The crew that put this together didnt find out this info until I arrived. On the up side I was able to meet some great guys and the vet was an inspiration. He was shot in the neck in Iraq his carotid artery was blown out and he suffered paralysis. He had movement of his arms but had atrophy. He has since parachuted from a plane, learning to fly, and getting his degree in accounting. He gets around in the woods on a special built all terrain wheel chair. He dosent feel sorry for himself but is pressing forward and like the tim mcgraw song says he is living like he was dying.
