Well, I went to the Retina Surgeon for a follow-up exam today, and the results are not good. Apparently, I have to be rechecked in 3 months, and will be needing surgery at some point in the future to correct something called macular pucker. Since I had surgery to fix three tears in my retina, my eye is trying to reject the whole damaged area, and is causing a film to build up in the central area of the back of the eye. Instead of slowing, its progressively gotten thicker. A macular pucker (also called an epiretinal membrane) is a layer of scar tissue that grows on the surface of the retina, particularly the macula, which is the part of your eye responsible for detailed, central vision. I would appreciate prayers that this will stop getting worse, and get better on its own. I know God can do it! I love you and thank you all!
