Well I woke up this morning and thought to myself, how can I have some fun and adventure today. I went to a mine to pick up a whole trailer load of gypsum. For those of you who do not know, they use a conveyor belt and just dump it inside the trailer. Imagine a waist deep pile of white powder covering the entire inside of the trailer. So off I go to Hanford, CA. When I reached the agricultural stop at the California border the lady asked me what I was hauling. I could not remember the name of it so I just said a bunch of white powder. Needless to say when they opened the doors to the trailer the look on their faces was priceless. I said in my best Cuban voice. Jew can have some if you like. Lesson #2: hiway patrol does not have a sense of humor either. The nice patrol man wanted to play beat up the smart ass trucker. What is the world coming to when your not allowed to waste federal employees time and resources. Well at least I found some adventure.
