Well I woke up this morning thinking it was my normal wake up - TopicsExpress

Well I woke up this morning thinking it was my normal wake up time-6am, proceeded with my normal routine (make the coffee, feed and walk Watson), discovering after awhile that I actually got up at 5am. No this was not a sr. event-erroneously thinking it was the day to set our clocks back. But I did hear on the news, as I settled down with my first cup of java blissfully unaware that I could be nestled in my bed, that in preparation for this annual fall ritual one should start to gradually do things a little earlier. Hmm. Got me thinking. For many years while I was still going to work everyday I was slightly OCD about time. Now that Im retired, not so much, and I am more like my grand kids who seem to be unconscious about time also. Maybe this is a good thing, (he says yawning a little and pouring a second cup). What if someone declared a day without clocks-a day in which we all just get up, do our thing(s) as it comes to us when and where etc. and just dont worry about time? Could we do it? And, if I can be a little philosophical and theological(as you know I tend to be), do the chains of chronos maybe keep us from experiencing some of the joys of kairos?
