Well Im back from Europe and I can tell everyone that it was one of the most hardest things I have ever done in my career!! Getting any chance to work on shows at Fashion Weeks as a freelance hairdresser (not product company sponsored or introduced) is really difficult. Every hairdresser in the world wants to work on those shows and most of them live in London, Paris or Milan. For a hairdresser from NZ with no introduction its dam near impossible. I am so stoked I was able to achieve it, and even got to work again with Guido. As always I learnt so much from the different people I worked with..........would I do it again, perhaps not. To anyone who has worked with me on shows before and thinks Im hardcore, I say go to Europe and work under one of those hair directors it was INTENSE! Anyone who is keen to find out how I got onto shows (when thousands of hairdressers are also trying) and if you want to know more about my experience then please email me.
