Well, Im having a hard time sleeping tonight I guess its because of this flu Ive got? But on the hand, it has given me time tonight to pray, read Gods Word, and seek His presence in the quietness of my home. Praise God! So I wanna share with you what is on my heart tonight if you dont mind? Your welcome to keep right on scrolling through your news feeds but you might miss a message from the Lord! I promise I wont keep you long lol. Just wanna share what God has placed on my heart tonight :-) I was reading in the book of Acts the 9th chapter about how Saul was determined to kill every Christian that he encountered! But God, the leader of the ones Saul wanted to kill had other plans! Saul was traveling down the road to Damascus and he had an encounter with The Big Man himself lol. Now I dont know about you but I think I would have had to change my under garments if I had that happen to me! I mean, Saul is just walking down this road when all of a sudden, BANG! Here comes a big flash of light and this loud thunderous voice! Saul! Saul! Why do you keep persecuting me? Saul was probably wigging out, I would be! Saul said, Is that you, Lord? Jesus said, Yea, Im Jesus. You know, the one you keep persecuting? Now get up, go to the city, and youll be told what to do. The guys that were with Saul were speechless! They heard God speaking but couldnt see Him. When Saul stood up he was totally blind and had to be lead by the hand. The story goes on to tell about how Saul began to become one of those Jesus Freaks he was so desperate to kill. Huh, I guess what I think this message is saying is, if God wants to use you then you better listen. And if you think He cant use you then I would say, WRONG!!!! If God can take Christian killer like Saul and transform him into Paul, who later went on to write over half of the new testament and help save millions with the Word of God. Then why cant He use a ragged old sinner like me and you? And why do we have to wait for a Damascus Road Experience before we decide to follow Him? Start right now and give Jesus your very best! Thats all He asks from us is our very best and God will do the rest! So my question to you is are you gonna wait for that big flash of light and booming voice from God before you decide to make a move? Or are you gonna see that God has been showing you the light and calling you all along and you was to spiritually blind to see it? Father God, I pray right now that you would strengthen not only me but every other christian to see the same light and hear the same voice that Saul heard on the Road to Damascus. Forgive us of our ignorance and give us the courage to pick up our cross daily and serve you. Start a fire in our hearts to wanna tell everyone we see about your Son, Jesus Christ! I am not ashamed of you, Lord! Help 2015 to be the year that your Glory is recognized throughout the world and millions of people turn to you for salvation! Thank you Lord for all you do in my life!
