Well, Maleficient is a great disappointment. Especially so since Im a big fan of Angelina Jolie because she looked so damn cool in the trailer. But yea, it was a poorly scripted movie that failed to gain my sympathy for the title character. Even the pretty strong cast like Angelina Jolie and Sharlto Copley seemed pretty subpar in this movie. The visuals and design were great though! Thats the one redeeming factor of the film though it wasnt enough to save it. Perhaps Robert Stromberg should have remained a production designer?
