Well Sally did not get her ERT today on account of her clever human forgetting the carrier oil! Sally has been having mild toxic releases so I did not want to proceed without the carrier oil. Instead we did some body work and applied plenty of Dill oil (I now smell delicious!). We also applied plenty of Thieves to a minor injury .... this is a recurring wound site for Sally and somehow she had scraped off a layer skin around the hoof bulb. It was covered in flies. Throughout the body work session I reapplied Thieves essential oil. I never enter the paddock with this oil. Thieves contains clove, cinnamon bark, lemon eucalyptus and rosemary and is a highly antimocrobial, antiseptic, anti-infecteous oil that contains compounds to improve immunity and reduce inflammation. I use it for pretty much every wound plus, it keeps the flies away!
