Well, Saturday was rough, but Sunday turned out to be an epic day to skydive at New Market. We flew 16 C-182 loads, all filled with four skydivers, setting a one day 1 182 record for slots flown. Thank you to our terrific staff who made it all happen. Congratulations to Henrik Jensen, who earned his IAD Instructor rating this weekend, giving us 5 IAD instructors on staff. Charlie Gittins was proud to be the first evaluation jumper and will accordingly pay beer this coming weekend!. We were happy to see Natalie Bronson on her last weekend before she is off with Marine Major (select) hubby to Bahrain. Her new DZ will be Skydive Dubai. Sounds like rough overseas Marine dependent duty, right? Next weekend we should be back to two planes. NIght jumps if we have enough interest (call Manifest 540-450-6070 to confirm participation). Come out and jump at the most scenic DZ in Virginia!
