Well. Went to the March in Adelaide, took my sweet German - TopicsExpress

Well. Went to the March in Adelaide, took my sweet German Shepherd, who loves people and I thought she would enjoy being part of it. She did, too - until time to go home when she decided the cracks in the pavement along King William St were enemies. What did this mean for me? First, a lot of embarrassment as people thought I was mean to bring her if she was so afraid. She wasnt afraid, she just wanted to walk in the road, amongst all the cars. People offered to carry her... Offered her treats.... I cringed and cajoled, and in the end we walked on the road, amongst the cars. We were not run down, and got to the Central Market where my car was parked, to find the lift had broken down. She would not walk up the stairs. A man carried her for me. Then.... We couldnt find the car. After about half an hour, we realised it was one level up. I will pass over the rest, except to say that I WILL NEVER BRING HER TO A MARCH AGAIN! She is now snoring in the sofa, happy as a pig in clover. I am a total wreck.
