Well. Wont this be interesting? A couple hours ago I took my rack of lamb out of the fridge to bring to room temperature before cooking. Im making a shallot and green peppercorn sauce to go over it. Sounds good, ya? Imagine my surprise when I opened my rack of lamb only to find, wait for it, a lamb shank! No lamb for me tonight. I wonder how that chicken thigh is gonna taste in the sauce? I shall let you know in about 40 minutes!
