Well, a lot of you guys who have been buddies with me on here for a while have known I have been going through rough times with my health. I have had real problems with my cholesterol for one thing, it was really really high at one time....eg my triglycerides are suppose to be between 100-200.....200 being very high and a little dangerous.....500 is extremely dangerous.....I was 1031.....they said I could drop dead at any moment. Well I was on medication but the medication brought it down a little but was also eating my muscles so they had to take me off it. Did not look fantastic for me! My beautiful wife read up on diet and nutrition etc, placed me on a diet, I have worked out great with a lot of cardio included, my weighat has gone from 227lbs down to 201lbs, my triglycerides have gone down to 143, my cholesterol is now 228 (should be 199 or lower but has never been lower than this ever)........everything is lower and is lower than it has ever been! This ladies and gent is not being on any medication at all! I was border line diabetic..... Not anymore! I have taken care of myself workout wise but my body was no good because all this is genetic ( I did not help it either by eating all the crap stuff) my wife has been in control of my diet, and has made everything from scratch....I have not had any junk food, processed food etc. She has made such delicious meals full of nutrition and plenty of protein. It took me a minute to get used to not snacking in between but even then she makes me snacks such as roast chic peas which are delicious to snack on. My health is probably the best has has been since my 20s and I am so grateful to her for what she has done for me. I workout like a 20 year old again! Lol I just wanted to give you guys an update and let you know through the right diet you can be where you want to be in life....I am on no medication other than fish oil and one multi vitamin. You can do this also through diet and exercise guys!
