Well, after a couple good days, we have went back to a not so good day. Alex is in a lot of pain and discomfort today because of all the fluid in his chest. I dont know what is causing it but his resting heart rate has been above 140 all day. He is struggling to get good breaths in because of all the fluid. They have taken him for a procedure to try and drain some of the fluid off of his lungs. He is very anxious when he cant breathe...which Im sure anybody panics when they cant breathe well. He didnt sleep well at all last night, and was definitely showing signs of struggle today. That is the worst part. Seeing him in any pain. They gave him a dose of Morphine, which I hope will help calm him down, and relieve some of the pain and discomfort he is feeling. Prayers for a better night for Alex Potter. Prayers again for a clear chest, for easy breathing, for improved heart function, and for his comfort and anxiety. Prayers for Robin Potter to stay strong. I know my Daddy will be her rock if she cant.
