Well, after waiting forever for our insurance to authorize the CT scan, we finally got it done. Poor Willow was feeling so terrible... In the end, we found out that her tube had gotten wedged in her sinus cavity, probably during insertion, and caused an infection. Apparently, the tube was blocking drainage and this caused the pressure that gave her the migraines. As you can see in the picture, she couldnt even tolerate the sun and had to hide her eyes. The worst part was watching her take the NG tube OUT. Because of it being stuck, the pain was horrible removing it and she was dry heaving...I thank God right now that it was such a small thing. What people dont know is this; each time you run a new NG tube down someones throat, you run the risk of damaging the sphincter and nicking the artery. If this happens, once the tube is removed, they will bleed to death in less than four minutes. Thank you all so much for your prayers and good vibes!!!! Thankful mom tonight. ♡♡♡♡
