Well another great weekend with Eli and Memphis. On Friday Eli and I exchanged some shoes I had bought for him that he didnt like, went out for lunch and went to the pet store to get some fish. Then on Saturday we went to Atascadero feed store to pick up new baby chicks and ducks. They have an amazing display set up there. Even if you dont want chicks you should take your young kids to look at all these babies..chicks,ducks, geese, turkeys by the hundreds! Eli wanted turkeys! We ended up with 6 pearl whites, 4 welsummers, 2 white banty frizzles, 2 hopefully female buff ducks! On Sunday Memphis experienced his first burn day. It made an impression! later when they were playing in the sand, Memphis made large piles and told Eli to stay back because they were his burns, and thats very hot! :) gotta love em!
