Well apologies all for being rather quiet! We have had no power for two whole days. The house is starting to feel rather cold, our food is all defrosting but we are in good spirits. We are still enjoying life by candlelight, living life back to the basics and spending lots of time talking and playing board games. Tonight we have decided to all bed down in the living room, the children are very excited by that! We are thankful for grandads old gas burner, my old analogue phone and SSE distribution for working their behinds of through this awful weather to repair lines and for supplying us with catering vans in the village. Fingers crossed the SSE staff get in out of the cold soon and we can have power again. Until then the romantic side of us will make the most of what we do have, 100s of IKEA tea lights ;)
