Well got to watch my first Celtics game of the season today. . . Some takeaways I saw: 1. That run and gun offense is great but doesnt win games if no one gets back on defense and no one offensive rebounds, choose one please! 2. Running over screens and dropping the center back in the paint is fine if its Roy Hibbert (who cant shoot) setting the pick, not against Noah or Gasol, that is all on Stevens who apparently never told his guys to adjust. Switch it up a little, maybe try a hedge or rolling under the picks because Rose is barely a 30% shooter from outside. 3. Give the ball to Sullinger and let him take it hard at Gasol in crunch time. Every time he did that the Cs got free throws, a wide open three, or an open lay-up. Sullinger has to be the go to guy. 4. How hard is it to hit a free throw! 2-9 in the fourth quarter is acceptable for 4th graders not the NBA. 5. I wish Olynyk would contribute to the game other than 5 fouls and a few easy rebounds. He is lethargic and seems lost on offense. There are more but I wont rant any longer. . . its only one game but I hope they improve in December. #Celtics #hardtowatch
