Well great news from the vet! We do NOT need to dock Barcas tail! Vet said it looks good, is healing up fine, and to just keep doing what we are doing till it heals. We are however going to transition them from kennelling during the day to staying outside bc the vet thinks the problem with his tail came from repeated trauma to it from constantly hitting the sides of the kennel when he would wag his tail, not from him chewing on it. So he needs plenty of room to move around from now on. Im sure they will adjust fine. Just relieved he doesnt hafta have another surgery! Thank goodness!!
