Well great trip to Aspen this weekend with my love.. We had ALOT of rain, and all cloudy skies, and a nightmare of traffic home that turned a 4 hour trip into a 7 hour trip and more rain so no fall pics at Kenosha pass.. That said, I got to spend some wonderful time with Kev, saw some spectacular sights and tried to capture just a bit of it. These are as I saw them, I do very little editing to my pics and Im the first to complain when someone pumps up the volume on the colors so much that they dont look real, well, these are real...At Maroon Bells the difference in color between is as the light changed as it got brighter during sunrise and the light reflecting off the lake, and I think the rain really made the aspens just glow, there was no sun to drown out their own light.and of course it just wouldnt be successful without a great barn.... let me know what you think.
