Well had my first Panic Attack today on 93.... Started to rain up here but they didnt forecast snow until tonight so I figured I had plenty of time to go to Market Basket in Laconia it was around 12 noon. I got to exit 29 and it started freezing rain. Traffic was down to a crawl and I couldnt decide whether to head back or not. By the time I got to exit 26 it was bumper to bumper. My storage is at exit 24 so I decided to go there I wanted to go there anyways. Before I got to exit 25 it was so slippery EVERYONE was staying a couple of car lengths except for the morons flying by. The first accident was a pickup truck on its roof in the median. Got my nerves going but I never noticed how steep the hills are on 93 until today. My heart was in my mouth. The next accident was a pickup truck pulling a trailer with snow mobiles and that Jack knifed and blocked both lanes on the other side. My hands started shaking and tears going down my face. I had to open my Windows for fresh air. When I turned around got off at exit 26 went to Hannafords forgot to get my prescription at C V S and drove 30 mph with everyone else in the right hand lane. Cant tell you how many more accidents I saw but you can bet this a s s will NEVER be on the road in bad weather ever again. I got home around 4:30.... Shouldve been home by 2. I must be getting old. Cant wait to get back to Mass....
