Well hello everyone!!!! I made it back safe and sound from Immersion Abroad Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. I had the most wonderful time. This trip was truly and eye opening experience. I became really emotional on the visit to feild outreach in Nicaragua, helping build the houses over there where 17, 000 familys are on the waiting list for homes. It really makes you look at your own life, and realize how truly blessed you are. I wanted to give so much more not just in time, but everything I physically could. I litterally gave them the shoes off my feet, and wore my flip flops back to the hotel. I am so thankful to Roane State Community College for the opportunity to have gone. This is only the beginning for me. I cant wait for the next adventure. A huge thank you to my family for helping with the kids, I couldnt have gone without you all. I was so nervous to go, but I now regret nothing. I hope I have shown my children that anything is possible, and that someday they will follow in my footsteps to expand their horizon to new adventures and travel the world and to have these wonderful experiences. I hope I have shown them to be selfless, and to not make possessions a priority, but insead humanity. I love all the new friends that I have made, Brandi Keirsey, and Brittany Lee- Corrigan my roomates you are foever special to me now. Thanks to my proffesor Saeed Rahmanian for encouraging me to go! Best decision ever! On a side note my phone was stolen while I was in Liberia Costa Rica, so if you have tried to contact me thats why I havent responded. I should have my new phone in the next day or so, I just have to make my way to T-mobil. If you need to get a hold of me send me a message here, it just might take me a bit to get back to you. Thanks everyone for their support. I lost a lot of pictures, so if anyone from my group has some of me, send them to facebook so I can save them.
