Well here goes nothing. I have no idea what Im doing but I hope this video comes through or Ill look pretty stupid. Anyway normal drag races involve two cars at a standing start racing to a finish line. Well here at Z Max Dragway in Concord NC, they do things a little bit different. They like going FOUR WIDE!!!!!!!!. Its the only dragstrip in the world equipped for this type of race. Exciting, Wild, and very Fast!!!!! AWESOME!!!! Combined horsepower, an astounding 40,000hp.Thats more than a field of 43 NASCAR combined. These cars go from 0-100mph in less than 1 sec. and cover 1,000ft in less than 4.25sec at 300+ mph. 5gs at first acceleration and -5gs when the chutes come out. WOW!! Fighter jets are the only other form that can experience that kind of g-force. Ranked the fastest accelerating internal combustion vehicles on earth. Trust me...TV does it no justice compared to seeing it live. Turn up that surround sound and just listen. You wont feel and smell the power, but hopefully this will tease you enough to check them out when the N.H.R.A. tour comes somewhere near you.
