Well, here is my opinion about the #ALSIceBucketChallenge, reading it is up to you.. I think the ALS ice bucket challenge is pure awesome! This challenge has proven how social media can be used in a positive way to spread awareness for Lou Gehrigs disease or ALS, a horrible neurodegenerative deadly disease. For all the Negative Nancys out there saying dumping ice over your head is just stupid, or they are doing it to follow the crowd or how will that raise money... Well, even if people are just doing it to get wet on social media or following the crowd, Numbers Dont Lie.. ALS disease has raised over 15.5 million dollars in just 3 weeks! And that number is pretty significant to me! I think it is phenomenal that ALS awareness has spread across the nation so quickly and that people are actually excited about doing it. For all the people out there that have participated in the challenge, I think thats great! And for all the people giving off negative energy about it, how can you expect a better world but not be willing to help change it? and in a fun way..
