...Well, invariably its often said that, all is well that ends well. After a combined total of 20 hours up in the skies, crossing 2 different continents, 2 different time zones and the mighty Pacific Ocean I am safety home in Virginia with my brother. My flight trajectory saw me flying from Sydney to land at the Los Angeles International Airport only to be given a VIP Ebola escort, which i must admit was quite interesting and fun...reason being - I had a Sierra Leonean passport of an Ebola affected country, even though i was coming from Sydney. Under a totally different circumstance, I unfortunately missed my 8: 30 am connecting flight to Dulles International Airport. So, I had to do it the long hard way to reach my final destination...I had to go through San Antonio International Airport in Texas, after waiting for about 4 hours for a connecting plane because our scheduled plane had some pre flight technical difficulties. Eventually, I landed at San Antonio Airport and then finally connected to Washington Dulles International Airport and arriving at my final destination about 23 HRs US Eastern Standard Time. Right now if someone is so curious to know what I am doing...I am happy to let you know that I am curled up in bed, under some thick wooly bed sheets, fighting jet lag and trying to correct my circadian sleep rhythm to near nomarlcy. Lets just say I cant wait to have my own American experience, let the holidays begin!
