Well, it was a very good week of writing and editing. I finished reviewing and making changes to the first pages, the page proofs, of The King of Shanghai and returned them to the publisher. The book is on track to be released in mid December. Work also went well on the Princeling of Nanjing. I am now more than 200 pages into it and Im happy with the way its going. In some ways its the most complicated of all the Ava Lees and could be the most satisfying. Im on the road starting next Friday, the 17th, until the 25th. Im in St. Albert, just outside of Edmonton, on the 17th where Im opening the Starfest literary festival. Then Im going to Vancouver for the Vancouver International Writers Festival. Ill be doing 3 events there. Ill post more details at the beginning of the week. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to those of you who are Canadian.
