Well its another Monday laundry day, but I started it Sunday night - TopicsExpress

Well its another Monday laundry day, but I started it Sunday night around 9pm and planned on going to bed around 11p, nope, took bedtime meds at 10p and as of 130a was still wide eyed, so put in load number two and got on the computer, the next thing I know, two loads washed/dried and folded and now its 430a and I need to go to bed, yikes. My son phoned me around noon and woke me, chatted for a bit on his road trip to work. Checked the temp outside, ick, too hot to mow AGAIN, so put in load three and took a bath. I finally got around to separating the leftovers from the BBQ on Saturday to put in frig or freeze. Saturday evening was enjoyable. Went down memory lane a few times after the cobwebs were separated to remember the memory lane, age will do that to ya. I do believe the food was received with good results, everyone seemed to be full. Didnt get into the hot tub, too hot/humid, we would have looked like lobsters. Enjoyed the company and hope to have another round before snow flies, then maybe it wont be sooooo hot and a hot tub plunge will feel good by then. Did an errand w/Callie this afternoon and as usual my glasses fogged up when I exited the vehicle. More storms tonight, the thunder this early a.m. was a quick down pour, I think it would be easier to have a small herd of sheep in the yard, mowing every other day is nuts. I got caught in the rain last Friday mowing, I ended up changing clothes three times in one day, this weather is crazy, theres rain predicted for every day the next five. Will attempt to mow and probably now have to bag it tomorrow early evening if its not raining already. My neighbor was in and out of his house several times today mowing a little, then back into the house. It doesnt take much to get over heated w/temp/humidity the way its been. I do believe you could sit and watch the darn grass grow before your eyes. My grandson Nick Lisle, went to college at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb last week. Hes on the floor of former leadership students, co-ed floor also. His room isnt anything close to the cramped quarters Tony had when he went to college. Nick plans on running for the University senate and applying for resident advisor for his floor, cha ching if he succeeds. He plans on majoring in Political Science. Hell do well, he has studied hard to get where hes at, received five scholarship for school this year, proud of him. He should do well in PS degree, will argue until the cows come home, especially if he believes hes right. Hoping to bed down at a decent hour tonight, wish me luck. Goodnight folks.
