Well, its another routine day in our great Republic, the border is crumbling before our eyes, the middle east is in flames, Iraq is being handed oved to ISIS, the economy shrunk by roughly 2.4% and government power over the individual is inexorably expanding while Iranian ambitions toward a nuclear weapon move steadily toward fruition. Sounds bad, right? Well, thats not all thats happening, this link Im sharing tells the story of Tim, a man with Downs Syndrome who happens to simultaneously be an accomplished athlete and a mildly successful restaurateur. Only in America could a man born at such a disadvantage to the rest of us grow to become so successful. This mans success is an example of what we can and are supposed to be as a nation: A place where the most disadvantaged and poverty stricken among us are free to grow, flourish and succeed, unimpeded, and based on our own individual merit and hard work.
