Well its been a busy last 36 hours with 10+ acceptors in 4 of the 7 races & 8 acceptors in the other 3, including the Cup, but only 7 jockeys at declaration time. Thru plenty of work and using contacts weve been able to get another 2 jockeys there Friday and so theyve got rides and another 2 interested in coming from SA if trainers want them to ride so lets hope that all falls into place and we dont see scratchings just because of no jockey available. Weve done all we can its up to the owners/trainers and the jockeys in question now! Fair dinkum and yes were biased but this is as good as the track has looked for some time - see it for yourself on Boxing Day - and it was given the tick of approval by RVL this arvo and rated a Good 4.
