Well it’s Saturday. I am waiting for the DISH technician to come and fine tune our satellite dish. During the big rain storm on Thursday we could only get satellite 110 with a very weak signal and satellite 119 would not lock in at all. I know you’re thinking why don’t I fine tune it myself, but it requires the long ladder still in Roseburg, and my signal strength meter also still in Roseburg (in the RV). So after the DISH guy is done I have a little laminate flooring to finish lying including a few pieces that have to be ripped on the table saw. Then I have decided to paint the trim before I put it back. I could get all the flooring done today if I don’t lose interest later in the day. After a trip to Home Depot to get the trim paint needed, I may very well postpone finishing the rest of the work until tomorrow. In fact maybe I should just get the paint today and do it all tomorrow. There might be a good football game on TV today. Now talking to my new friend Loren or maybe it was Lance that I met at the Doctors office yesterday, Thursday’s rainstorm was the worst he had ever witnessed in Stayton, and he has lived here all his life, which I would guess to be about 73 and ½ years. I am not sure why Loren was at the Doctors office it might have had something to do with memory loss as he thought he had a scheduled appointment, which the receptionist couldn’t find, but they said they would squeeze him in anyway. Didn’t make a trip to Roseburg this week, I still have the last load of Donna’s stuff to deal with in order to make room for the next load and remember that some of that stuff can go into the craft room as soon as I get it finished. We have some stuff I should put on Craigslist to get rid of. Hard to get rid of some of that stuff while Donna is watching what I am doing, you know what I mean.
