Well, lets see. It is 9:35 here in Vegas land on a cloudy but beautiful day. I have rebandaged my bite, I guess the bleeding was more than I realized and been to pick up my passenger, dropped off at the airport and returned home but not without some adventure. I wasnt planning to take a tour of downtown Vegas and hit every side street between here and there when going in and exiting the airport a different way. There should have been a clue that something was amiss when the time said I had 3 hours and 40 minutes left to reach my destination, the map kept spinning and the GPS voice kept repeating the same directions. I have no clue where I was on whatever side street in the not so quaint side of town, but just pulled over, put in my address once more and bam; there was normalcy again . Being geographically illiterate does leave one to be a victim of losing their way often, but I have discovered that I dont go into panic mode anymore and have flashbacks of my life and wonder if I will ever see home again. :) Between GPS and finding some familiar paths either by accident or luck, I am able to find my way by some luck. Ya know, across the board, there are quite a few changes going on and that have already happened in many areas. I am realizing that it truly does not matter if I am on board, in favor of or agree . Life happens with or without our permission or approval and what we cant control really leaves our thoughts and opinions to a lower element of approval if rating on the scale. Trying to catch up, adjust, think and not feel; well Dear Gussie, sometimes thats just a bit tough. Self- therapy has become a common trait for me anymore, especially when it seems that I am alone in my opinions or adjustments. What do ya do? Well as always, I know not being a size of a single digit, long term floating would not work well for me and I would indeed sink. With that not being a favorable option, I will just carry on with the swimming, maybe changing up my pattern and trying a few different strokes .:) Have a terrific Tuesday FB peeps.
