Well looks like some hard decisions will be made this week. Got word while at work my parents tried to burn the house down. Sadly its no laughing matter it could have been so so serious. Dad tried to help mom by heating a dry towel in the microwave didnt realize it was burning in the center put it on her hip on the bed and yep ya guessed it set the damn bed on fire. luckily for them both they realized it sooner than later. I have worked my whole life in nursing homes, hospitals and assisted living having to decided if its time for your parents to go to one is never easy. My one hard decision is to quit my job and tend to my mom at home fulltime that seems to be my ungrateful siblings thoughts. Where are they when help is needed oh yea safely tucked in at their houses doing what they want without having to worry what our parents are doing. I am not unhappy just sad to see them age is all. I am sure God has a plan for me in all this just really had thought i would have some time to enjoy my 50s but I will do what is needed and do my best to make it work for all. If i dont respond to msgs or game requests its just not as important as my parents. I took care of my grandma in her later years growing up so guess i am to do this for my mom. Just a bit stressed and overtired these days. Hope yall have a blessed week. Hug your loved ones close, say a prayer for those serving and hope for a better year.
