Well my shift at work today started beautifully. In the Kmart I work at we have a big inflatable Santa at one of the entrances and a mother walked in carrying her two year old daughter. The child was a bit frightened of the Santa, so the Mum did the good mother thing of showing it to her daughter, letting her touch it to see its not scary, all that sort of stuff. While mum was doing this, I snuck up on the other side of the Santa, unbeknownst to mum or child, and pushed the Santa in the childs direction. The reaction was epic. Screams, tears, the whole works. I cant believe the mum didnt yell or even glare at me, though she may have been too busy to. The door lady was not impressed by me though. Some people just dont appreciate my humour.
