Once more. Ill rip your face off. ..our thoughts naturally turn to the glorious highlight of this magnificent sporting year. Mind not the strawberry fools with their Djokovic or the petrol sniffing Hamiltonians, ttour Yorkshire or Brazil, or the club swinging nonsense at Hoylake. The big one, the important one, the one that touches the soul is unstoppably rocketing towards us. The Fabulous Bakery Boys are back on the road. Soon. And they will be ready, they are doing the work. They look sharp, they look mean, they are buzzing and keen. In training they look superb and they have new tricks, new plans, new strategies, new personnel. They are stronger, they are faster, they are fitter and best of all, they are smarter. Yes they are ready. Are you? Actually youre not because there are a few things you need to do to before the magic comes your way. Firstly you need to get two identical passport pictures of your Bakery Boy, as soon as you can. Certainly before Tuesday 22nd July at 7.30 because thats when were having our pre-season meeting - The Dower House, Woodhall Spa. This is the most important meeting of the season as we discuss every aspect of the coming year and what you can expect. It is open to everyone who is likely to attend any Bakery Boys game - parents, family, friends and supporters and we really need you all to be there so that we all know and agree on, exactly what lies ahead. Bring a fiver by the way, the signing-on fee. Can you also check the playing kit and let me know of any shortages and regardless of your endless whinging and droning, we are definitely keeping the white socks and shorts. Style you see, class, not that many of you know anything about that. And dont forget the club Quiz - Thursday 24th July 7.30, we want you all there too with your family, your friends and your money. And after that, the sorcery will begin, and it will be fantastic, and it will be thrilling and you will love it, absolutely and completely love it. Now, where did I put those Speedos?
