Well now that the tears have dried and the shaking has stopped i am going to make my comment. Ben Affleck cast as Batman in next Superman Batman movie. I am a huge Batman fan and i thought nothing would ever top the embarrassment of George Clooney as Batman in Batman and Robin and for the last 24 hours I felt how wrong was I. That movie ( Batman and Robin ) put Joel Schumacher forever on my shit list. If he alone found a cure for cancer he would still be on my Shit list. Casting Ben Affleck to the role of my beloved Batman was at first such a slap in the face i think the hand print will forever be seen, but since thinking about it... I dont know. Christopher Nolan ( my opinion so reserve judgement ) knocked the Batman franchise out of the park and made a staple for all other comic book related movies to follow. Joss Whedon put Marvel comics related movies on the map ( and the Avengers was one of the best ) but it was Christopher nolan who put comic related movies on the map. I am going to trust his judgement on the Ben Affleck saga and hope he is seeing something that i dont. I remember when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker, it was the same reaction from a lot of people. Now who wouldnt say publicly that he was without a doubt the best Joker/ actor in any comic book based movie. So time will tell but i am laying my chips on the table for Affleck.
