Well sorry its been a little quiet over the past 36 hours but I have just under taken a mammoth journey with the assistance of some of our awesome volunteers donna and owen. Yesterday I headed off from goulburn to richmond to meet up with my wonderful volunteers who very kindly agreed to assist with todays task. We were offered a generous donation of almost 2 trailor loads of various tubs full of donations located in Newcastle all we needed to do was collect it , so we set out at just after 5 am this morning from richmond with a ute plus trailor and a car to Newcastle. Once we arrived we met the very wonderful miss s and her lovely daughter all the donations were loaded up in a matter of minutes after a quick chat and we were on the road again. By 2pm today everything was safley unloaded in the goulburn angels storage ready for volunteers to sort and organise. A massive thankyou Miss S for passing these amazing donations on to us they will all be put to great use and we will also be making sure we provide care bags to Newcastle agencys so that these items benifit the area they originated from. Thankyou so much also donna and owen for for you amazing help and hospitality as always showing true volunteering spirit. Thanks also to my kids who came along for the ride and helped load and unload and were well behaved :)
