Well step one in my opinion in growing for resin, is turning your crop into hash or extracts. Its hard to know the true quality of your herb, without first decontaminating the Trichome gland heads away from the rest of the plant matter. This will unveil the QUALITY via, THE PURITY. I have been surprised on both sides of the coin with quality while isolating gland heads. I have seen fullmelt come from material that i wouldnt have guessed, and i have seen resin i would have guessed to be exceptional on the plant, which has turned out to be less than once isolated and decontaminated. I also throw most conventional prohibition based mindsets to the side.. which for me are HOW MUCH CAN I GET< and HOW FAST CAN I GET IT. my end goal is not YIELD< as much as it is Quality. I have seen certain stressed can increase the production of resin, but not so much the quality of said resin> this comes from proper nutrients, temperatures, feeding schedules, and proper care of the plants. Focus on the final product ie the Glandular trichomes, and you will see subtle ways to raise the bar on the quality of your resin!!!!
